We have a small family run breeding program. All of our dogs are valued family members that live in our home with us. We do not have a kennel. I am a firm believer that dogs in a kenneling facility miss out on family interaction. Our goal is to produce high quality Great Danes and disposition is a huge part of that. Our puppies are also whelped and raised in our home. This gives them the skills they need to transition into their new families. We are located on a beautiful 53 acre farm. Our dogs and our puppies are exposed to all kinds of livestock and people. Socialization in my mind is key to raising a well balanced Dane. Our dogs have never met a stranger and will do well in any family setting. They do great with children and smaller animals. That is because they run the farm with our kids every day.
We breed with proper confirmation and calm temperment as our primary goals. We pride ourselves in producing superior Great Danes bred from champion bloodlines. We breed by the Great Dane Club of America Breeder's Color Code and we specialize in color pure Fawn, Brindle, Harlequin, and Blue Great Danes.
We have had rescue Danes in the past and still occasionally have orphaned Danes looking for new homes. Some of the pictures will be of dogs that don't meet the color standard. We did not breed these dogs. These are dogs that have lost their homes for whatever reason. It does not change the fact that they are Danes that need good loving homes.
Our dogs are given the highest level of care. We insist on the best nutrition and constant socialization. We give our dogs plenty of exercise daily. They love to run in the fresh country air. There is nothing better to a dog than rolling in the hay field first thing in the morning. All of our dogs have proper social interaction, they are always happy to greet visitors to the farm. Above all, our dogs are loved.
When our puppies leave for new homes they have had their first shots and wormings and have received a well puppy check from our veteranarian. Every puppy is handled with tender loving care. We breed Great Danes because we love the breed. We want every puppy placed with others who love the breed too.
